Crockpot pumpkin chili with ground beef, black beans, and kidney beans, from Kalyn's Kitchen

Crockpot pumpkin chili with ground beef, black beans and kidney beans: a make-ahead-and-freeze dish from Kalyn's Kitchen (on Soup Chick).

This good and healthy chili comes from fellow Rhode Island food blogger Just One Donna!, who lives near the coast where Sandy unleashed her most fierce winds and tides. Donna lightens up her beef chili with turkey, and adds lots of vegetables, black beans and white beans, and red pepper flakes for heat. This chili is just as good after a day of skiing as it was after the hurricane.
