Seven soups every Saturday: chicken soup recipes
In the house where I grew up, chocolate (specifically, Hershey milk chocolate bars) cured most everything, and Jewish-style chicken soup cured what the nice folks at Hershey could not. In my own house, things work pretty much the same way, except we believe that any type of chicken soup can banish the blahs. I'm partial to chicken soups with a bit of heat (red pepper flakes, Sriracha, cayenne) and a bit of meat. Some people believe it's the slurpy noodles in chicken soup that effect a cure, but I believe it's magic.
