Slow cooker sausage, tortellini and mushroom soup, from 365 Days of Slow Cooking
Even after two years, I'm new enough to slow cooker cooking that I haven't quite mastered pasta. When to add it, whether to add it cooked or uncooked, I'm never quite sure. So I love recipes like this slow cooker sausage, tortellini and mushroom soup from 365 Days of Slow Cooking, that help to demystify pasta for me. Good quality (all natural) tortellini is one of those convenience foods I always have in the freezer, for quick weeknight dinners, pasta salads, or a hearty addition to soups. Use regular or spinach tortellini in this recipe, and your favorite sausage.

I love your "Oodles of Noodles" board on Pinterest. I follow all of your boards. I love me some noodles, alas I can't have sesame seeds (I have to leave seeds out), but you have so many delicious recipes, and photos to back them up, do you take the photos yourself, they're excellent. Love your blogs.
I've never had good luck with pasta in slow cookers either. I saw a recipe for a different kind of soup with tortellini in it on The Chew earlier this week and it made me think that I should make some soon. (This recipe is much easier!)
