Shrimpball pasta soup, from Framed Cooks

Shrimpball pasta soup, from Framed Cooks (on Soup Chick).

The minute I saw this recipe for shrimpball pasta soup on Framed Cooks I bookmarked, knowing I would make this as soon as I pulled the ingredients from the pantry. Kate seasons her shrimp meatballs with a little bit of Old Bay Seasoning, which I always have on the spice rack. I can imagine, too, putting an Asian spin on this soup, using lo mein noodles and adding a touch of soy sauce to the shrimp. This soup pushes all of my happy buttons.

Oh, I'll definitely be making this recipe! We are shrimp lovers and it will be easy to make this recipe gluten free. Thanks, Lydia!

Mexicans also have a delicious version of shrimpball soup. I'm crazy for it. Yours sounds great, too.

Jana, a Mexican version of this sounds intriguing! What's in it?
