As a relatively recent convert to the joys of slow cooker cooking, I'm always looking for new recipes, and this sweet and spicy ground turkey and sweet potato stew, from Kalyn's Kitchen, caught my eye right away. Fall in New England is all sweet potatoes all the time; pair the sweet of the potatoes with spicy sambal oelek (chili garlic sauce), and it's pure heaven. Make this stew ahead and freeze it. When it's time to serve, cook some rice, and you have a hearty -- but not heavy -- main course.
