Oyster stew, from Coconut & Lime
Rachel, of Coconut & Lime, lives on the East Coast near Chesapeake Bay, so it's only natural she'd have access to great shellfish and the local festivals that celebrate it. Inspired by an oyster festival in St. Michael's, she decided to try her hand at recreating the oyster stew she enjoyed there. This recipe gets its body from evaporated milk, and its smoky quality from smoked ham. A bit of habañero chili livens things up.
